Sales of the Best Type!!

I am unable thank them personally since I don't have the means to do so, but I DO want to publicly give thanks to two unknown individuals who have purchased my images at Redbubble, since I returned there weeks ago. To have sales so soon after rejoining the ranks of RB is very good for my morale!

Most people who know me are aware that I have again disappeared from facebook and twitland, so basically I have NO social media advertising or marketing outside my website and blog, so to have any publicity for my images is a rare event indeed!

I often consider myself a (very) small business, and if I had to survive off my meager image sales, I'd be living on the streets. BUT, having sales at all is even better. Take for example my wife Sheila, who is also a photographer; she's been online with her fabulous imagery for many years, but she has only had one sale ever and that was a few months ago after so many years online! That is very disheartening, especially since people have told her in person how they love her images, and promise to stop by her website to buy an image to help decorate their walls with local color! I cannot tell you how heartbreaking it is to find out that what she was told isn't true.....  and it has happened to me way too often also, and I am quite sure artists worldwide know of this too!

So I will say Thanks again to my unknown buyers, and I hope it brings color and many years of enjoyment to you!

I also am aware that I have regular viewers of this blog. I've been here quite a few years, after a decade or so at Xanga. Then I tried a few other places without much liking a thing or so about it. So it does look like I'm here though, and probably will stay here, so I do appreciate your taking the time to read my words and thoughts! 

I just discovered a mess of comments from years past since I never knew I had to moderate comments posted to my blog! At all other previous blogs sites, I've always allowed open public comments though in this time and age, it's probably not a good idea. So, if you have commented on a blog post of mine in the past, you're probably discovering that I have just very recently replied to your comment(s)!!
