Niagara Falls State Park has a new "attraction"!
There's various spots at the Niagara Falls State Park where you can get closer to the water, such as a very safe and misty Terrapin Point on Goat Island, BUT now at Prospect Point, the "main" viewing area, and most accessible and most visited area of the park, they just opened the Cataract Stairs and Overlook at Prospect Point, which can get viewers about 35 feet from the falling waters of the American Falls.
Of course, you can walk or drive across the Rainbow Bridge to the Canadian side — don't forget your passport — to view the huge Horseshoe Falls just feet away without any problems at all, but with this newest viewing area at the American Falls, the Cataract Stairs and Overlook of Prospect Point, the crash and wetness of the American Falls is now closer than ever! So if you've been planning to visit the Falls of Niagara Falls of Ontario Canada, OR the waterfalls of Niagara Falls, New York USA, be sure to be on the lookout to see this.
